I recently aquired a W.F.B. - William F. Buslap , Hawaiian Lap guitar made somewhere between 1890-1910. He was a Chicago Ill, master builder & not much info avalible on his work. The guitar itself has no cracks & tuners are not completely original & face upwards. Basically a lap guitar of extreme quality. It rings a tone I have never heard & goes on seemily for ever. Neck does need re-set & a few other things need done as well, I am going to see if Tom Mylet of Portland Fret Works will do the work on it. All Mahagony it seems & no venears. Wondering if any of you have played or seen & or have info on this intriguing builder.

I have no idea..I don't play lap steel. I have decided however not to have the neck re-set. I will just have a proper going overby my Luthier. I don't play such things so my ignorance is huge. I was however curiouse if anyone did have knowlege of this builder & or also has one of his guitars.
