And I need another acoustic that isn't a piece of crap. Preferrably one which includes a hardshell case, for tips and whatnot. I am also on an extreme budget. Suggestions?

You really have to be much more specific:

Price range?

Playing style? - strummer, fingerpicker? Do you play loud and aggressive or soft?

Electrified or not?

Preference for tone - bright, dark, funky?

Do you want a guitar that is durable and you don't have to worry about or will you be keeping it humidified and being more careful with it?

And as far as the hardshell case goes, you can get one at any time for any guitar separately, so that really isn't an issue.

I'm a strummer, I prefer a brighter sound. I was thinking a Yamaha, because every single Yamaha acoustic I've ever played was simply amazing, but I'm definitely open to suggestions. My price range is about $100-$300.

EDIT: I have no need for it to be electrified, and a would prefer a durable guitar.

Hardshell cases usually start between $60 - $100.

Yamaha is an excellent choice. You can get a solid top between $199 and $299. Check out the FG700, FG720 and FG730.

OK, I agree with Hudman on the Yamaha for what you describe. They sound great, are really durable and are great for loud strumming and singing.

Post pics when you get what you want.

yamaha generally gets the nod for durability.

If you want to poke around at others in the price range, try Waslden, Washburn, Alvarez, or Seagull.

I don't think you'll beat a Yamaha FG700S in your price range. You can buy it and a good case for under $275. Well built, low action, no string buzz, slick neck, solid spruce top, full sound---what's not to like? :)

Everyone here is exactly right, Yamaha is a great choice. They make great-sounding guitars for very little $$ and they last forever. A lot of folks here have them and some of them have owned their Yamahas for 30+ years.

If for some reason you can't get your hands on a Yamaha (highly unlikely because they're everywhere but just to throw out the possibility), I also like Washburn in your price range. Washburn was my first "real" acoustic and I have gigged with it, recorded with it, jammed with friends with it, taken it to many a bonfire, and it is still in one piece.

I'm always on the lookout for durable gear (I don't necessarily take great care of my gear and I gig a lot) and I've been most impressed by Washburn and Yamaha in your price range.
