Members Daseere Posted October 4, 2007 Members Posted October 4, 2007 I am looking for some info on a guitar that was made during "title" years above that had red or blue in it? It was the first guitar my husband ever owned and I want to see if I can track one down for a Christmas present.
Members Queequeg Posted October 4, 2007 Members Posted October 4, 2007 keep an eye on ebay. Old Harmonys often come up for sale there. More often than one might imagine. They are frequently in need of a neck reset though and that additional expense could equal or exceed the cost of the guitar. But a nice old US-made Harmony is a pretty good guitar, and you're a mighty good wife to be thinking about this as a good gift for your mate. He must be a good guy to deserve you, too.
Members dhoenisch Posted October 4, 2007 Members Posted October 4, 2007 A Great site to check out for old Harmony guitars would be this site: http://harmony.demont.net You may be able to spot the exact one, than you'll have a better idea as to what you are looking for. Dan
Members guitarist21 Posted October 4, 2007 Members Posted October 4, 2007 When you said "red and blue" it made me think of this guitar: Is this not at all what you're talking about? Is there anyway you could give us more information about the guitar's appearance? Harmony made a lot of guitars from '53-'58. Ellen
