Any suggestions (with prices if possible) on aftermarket electronics? I have experience with built in fishman, but prefer baggs. I've never installed one myself. Tips? Thanks!

If you go for an on-board EQ preamp (and LR Baggs make very good ones), unless you are good at DIY take it to some-one who is, because you have to cut holes in your guitar.

You can get off-board preamps that just connect into the jack cable so this could be an option for you.

Go w/ the outboard preamp...cutting a barndoor into the side of your guitar is quite a bit trickier than it looks, if you want your guitar to survive the experience, longterm!

Besides, you don't need controls on your instrument...tone and volume can be adjusted acoustically...
