Members Glenn F Posted October 13, 2007 Members Posted October 13, 2007 The price of Martins seems to be coming down here. I could get a D-28 for
Members Cripes Posted October 13, 2007 Members Posted October 13, 2007 If I might resond micro-universally, you're off the hook. I'll black hole your wife to the WTF galaxy where promises are unpromised and get her back in time for the next sale. Oh, and the vows would be out the window too, of course.
Members Samilyn Posted October 13, 2007 Members Posted October 13, 2007 Go buy it without talking about it. There you have it, promise kept. Of course, you might not live long enough to play it after you bring it home...........
Members Hudman Posted October 14, 2007 Members Posted October 14, 2007 It's probably due to the weak American dollar.
Members Glenn F Posted October 14, 2007 Author Members Posted October 14, 2007 We talked about it some.... Bottom line is, if I want to get one (do I have a great wife or what?) I can do so, but not straight away. Christmas is a realistic option, we'll see. It all depends on whether or not I feel that I 'need' a new guitar. I'll probably test drive a D-28 before a Larrivee, though. I want a good Martin, don't really feel the need for electronics or fancy embellishments. I just want a guitar that plays well strumming and picking, and sounds rich. Anyways, after my spree this summer, I cannot honestly say that I 'need' a new guitar right now. I just bought Logic Studio 8, which ought to keep me busy for a while. Funny, though, that just when I decide to stop obsessing over another new guitar, I get a newsletter from a music company with all these great sales, and some of them MAJOR reductions. *drool* Cheers! Glenn
Members Cripes Posted October 14, 2007 Members Posted October 14, 2007 Why is it we all digress to a primordial Neanderthal-finds-mammoth state of mind with acoustic guitars? I'm still working on my last kill but I expect that will last only so long.
