So, I've had my Cort for a bit over a year, and I just put it up on ebay. Two reasons. First, ever since I got my Yamaha nylon, I find myself playing it more and more and leaving the Cort in the case. Not that I didn't like the Cort, it's a neat little guitar, but I really like the Yamaha. Second, if I can sell the Cort for a decent price I can indulge the GAS this forum has brought out and get something new. I know it's not something most people here would want, but for anyone who wants an A/E in nice shape for cheap, the item number on ebay is 170161271990.

On an unrelated note, I just caught a concert by Roy Rogers on "Sierra OnStage" on PBS. I'm a bit late to the party, since it's evidently from 2004, but this guy's freakin' incredible. When I first started listening, I was thinking, "How is he getting that sound?" Then I noticed - he uses a Leslie cabinet! I don't think I've ever seen a guitarist use a Leslie, but what a cool sound - mechanical rather than electronic. And that 6 string of his looks like it's ready to give Trigger some competition....;)

I saw Roy Rogers in 1993 in a small club in Toronto opening for Robben Ford. One of the coolest things I have ever seen was when he played open tuned bottle-neck slide guitar on a nylon string classical guitar though a Mesa Boogie combo amp. Does he still do that?

Oh...and good luck with the sale of the Cort. :D

Yeah, he sure does...at least in the show I saw. Second thing I noticed after the Leslie was that Mesa Boogie. Must have been cool seeing Rogers and Ford on the same night. I don't think I've ever seen anyone faster than Rogers up and down the neck. It was also interesting to see Norton Buffalo on harp for one song. All in all, one of the best Sierra OnStage shows I've recorded...although I haven't gotten to Tommy Emmanuel yet!
