Members jephre Posted October 22, 2007 Members Posted October 22, 2007 Well, I'm one week into my full ownership of my new git (Epi DR-500M), and... I guess I'm here on the board just to proclaim my love for it from the highest peaks of the Internets... In my 16 years (with occasional gaps) of playing guitar, I've never felt such DESIRE to play my instrument before. I guess that's one of the benefits of GAS. The axe itself just feels like it's meant to be in my hands, and in return seems more willing than any previous instrument I've tortured with my digital ministrations to produce sounds resembling actual music. Even better-- I've found myself memorizing songs again, something I hadn't really done in years. My wife (we've been together going on 5 years) is getting a kick out of this, as she never really knew me as a musician until recently. Anyway, in terms of customer satisfaction... Epiphone has one here. Thanks for re-igniting my love of playing music.
