Members johnkline Posted October 28, 2007 Members Posted October 28, 2007 Late last night my wife put on HSN and there was Esteban's newest model for 79.99, (or flexplay for 3 payments of ....). I couldn't help but watch just a little, nothing else was on Comedy Central at the time. Can you believe Tony Little is still around? His show came on right after, still sportin' the pony tail with the baseball cap, wearing his watch over his long sleeve shirt... I'm drifting off subject, but anyway, this morning I was looking through the Toys R US ad for the kids and they have a Hannah Montana guitar for 79.99... So which would you rather have, the Esteban, or the Hannah Montana? Same price, so it will be tough.
Members Terry Allan Hall Posted October 28, 2007 Members Posted October 28, 2007 My youngest niece is a MAJOR Hannah Montana fanatic, so I bought her a HM guitar for her Winter Holiday gift... Surprisingly playable, with good intonation, reasonable tone (all-laminate construction, I suspect), 7/8-size dread...somewhat better than what Wally World sells for the same $$$. It's a "Lyon", which is Washburns "budget" line, I think...didn't see one of the electric models (left), but it's a Tele-oid
Members Hudman Posted October 29, 2007 Members Posted October 29, 2007 I am waiting for the Hannah Montana signature Esteban guitar.
Members phil_harmonic Posted October 29, 2007 Members Posted October 29, 2007 Can Hanna (Mylie) even play guitar? I have never seen her play one on the show?

My 7 and 11 year olds watch both of those shows (+ The Suite Life & Life with Derek). I bet I seen every episode 2 times. I get the double bonus, because my 7 year old son still watches the cartoons too. Billy Ray Cyrus (Hannah's dad on the show and in real life) plays a Gibson and a Takemine on the show often.
Members Chicken Posted October 30, 2007 Members Posted October 30, 2007 ...but I see that show and "Drake and Josh?"I've never seen the show but was informed by one of my 3rd grade students that Drake and Josh (or one of them, forgot who he said exactly) are better than me, heh. I'm just a beginner (so it's no shock) but nothing like the brutal child honesty and lack of a mental filter to make one feel good.

There used to be a pretty good series on with Billy Ray Cyrus called "Doc"... And, in spite of the general goofiness of "Achy Breaky Heart", he does some great songs on his albums...check out "Trail of Tears".
