Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Members Posted November 16, 2007 So I was looking for an OM-03RE for 899 from Jason at notableguitars, but i was informed that they are sold out and when they are back in they will be $50 more. So where can i get one for $900 now?
Members moctzal Posted November 16, 2007 Members Posted November 16, 2007 Try Trinity Guitars or Guitar Adoptions.
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 Just emailed Guitar-Adoptions to see if they would match. Will keep the thread updated on what happens next.
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 Try Trinity Guitars or Guitar Adoptions. Thanks, I'll shoot Trinity an email.
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 Thanks, I'll shoot Trinity an email. Looks like they are sold out, don't see it listed on their site.
Members C70man Posted November 16, 2007 Members Posted November 16, 2007 Try here......except they are more expensive and i dont know if they negotiate......http://www.thepodium.com/p-16320-larrivee-om-03re.aspx
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 GA has one: http://guitaradoptions.com/store/product.php?productid=18411&cat=257&page=6I'll be willing to bet Dave will beat it.. We'll see I've sent him an email, but it is late here on the west coast and I don't know where he is, so I'm guessing he'll get back to me tomorrow.
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 He's in IL.He beat everyone...and Jason at Notable actually told me to get mine at GA...he couldn't touch the price...I've got the email stating that.My L-03MT-12 delivered yesterday. Mine had a HIGHER list than yours...and I paid $899.00 delivered to my door. Seriously? How much should i be asking for then?
Members C70man Posted November 16, 2007 Members Posted November 16, 2007 How about a preowned in mint condition?http://guitaradoptions.com/store/product.php?productid=18703&cat=275&page=2
Members Sparhawk Posted November 16, 2007 Members Posted November 16, 2007 There's a nice little shop right down the road from where I work that might have one. http://www.andysguitars.com/guitarbrands.php?brand=Larrivee Send 'em an email and ask.
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 Trinity is out of stock too.... props on the quick reply though
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 Waiting on Guitar Adoptions, hopefully they haven't sold out either (although I wouldn't be surprised).
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 Na, he updates his site quickly...as in within 30 minutes or so of a guitar being sold... Have you tried calling the number...sometimes he's actually in his studio...maybe worth a shot. Sweet so hopefully he still has it. If that is the case and if he can give it to me for something like 850 or even 900 he's got himself a new customer
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 Alright, I'm going to end up going with the R version and not the RE, since I can add my OWN electronics anytime without the barn door in the side of my guit I have to give props to trinity, they are giving me the LOWEST price with a free bone saddle upgrade, as well as free shipping!
Members Daft Punk Posted November 16, 2007 Author Members Posted November 16, 2007 I'll be in new york for a show so it has to arrive by next thursday. Won't be able to play it till i bring it back home though.

Good call. I hate those barn doors. I got my OM-03R without the E too and have a K&K Pure Western mini (passive soundboard triple transducer) on my Christmas list. I don't know about your needs in a pickup, but the K&K PW mini comes highly recommended by many Larrivee owners who play solo or in all-acoustic bands. OTOH I hear that it tends to feed back when used in a settings with drums and electric instruments where you need to turn the gain up on the (separate) preamp. BTW - I'm just looking to use it at open mics and acoustic sets in church.

Members Glenn F Posted November 17, 2007 Members Posted November 17, 2007 Mmmm... They look really nice. Unfortunately, they are a bit of a rip-off here. A D-03R costs
Members mrmoe Posted November 17, 2007 Members Posted November 17, 2007 Try Katie at Maple Leaf....she has a used one listed and is sure to have a new one....http://www.mapleleafmusic.com/instruments.cfm?sub=4
