Members S~R~O Posted December 20, 2007 Members Posted December 20, 2007 +1 on the Podium Marty is a top notch Luthier to say the least..... As far as service.... He will take and set a guitar up to your choice..and back it up.
Members Tony Burns Posted December 21, 2007 Author Members Posted December 21, 2007 I dont really think their that exspensive , have seen some really nice ones going used for about 3 thousand - for a top notch guitar that sounds cheap . I'm just really tired of the mediocre guitars that are available in most places, it seems everybody sells Martins , Gibson , Guild -- just want something on the unusual like a Lowden or a Goodall -- looking for that bell like sound , bright , clear and loud with a nice sustain !
Members Monkey Peaceful Posted December 21, 2007 Members Posted December 21, 2007 My Goodall came from Cathedral Music in Troy, NY. They have a website, but more importantly, the proprieter is a fantastic guy and really stands by his products and service. By the way, I've played Martins, Larivees, Froggy Bottoms, Webbers, Taylors, etc. and by far, the Goodall stands above all of them for some reason.
