Members C70man Posted December 23, 2007 Members Posted December 23, 2007 This is a live performance, just pulled out of his hat in front of a crowd yelling out requests. Outstanding stuff...I wish Steve had done an Xmas album before he left us. He had the crowd help him with the words. Steve Goodman's "Winter Wonderland" from his album Artistic Hair: http://audio.xanga.com/c70man/d190a1697790/audio.html

Members C70man Posted December 24, 2007 Author Members Posted December 24, 2007 Lennon's 'Happy Xmas (War is Over).' I miss John.Cheers,Glenn Everyone does....I remember my sister calling me the day it happened. She lived in Manhattan at the time. The end of an era, the end of the Beatle reunion, and to some the end of hope. To me, losing John was equivalent to others losing Elvis. The first Rock and Roller that made a difference in my life. When Steve Goodman died I was at work with my radio on and listening to WGN. Roy Leonard came on and announced it. He was totally trashed and couldn't keep himself from crying. I ended up leaving work that day. I couldn't think. I spent the rest of the day listening to his music and crying. But.......we have the music and that's the wonderful gift both of these great talents left us. I will play some Lennon today...thanks for the reminder.
