Members guitarist21 Posted January 2, 2008 Members Posted January 2, 2008 Agreed! He's a very cool guy. "I'm Yours" is one of my favorite songs. He could stand to be a little more harmonically interesting, but its still a great song. Ellen
Members Scott Fonseca Posted January 3, 2008 Members Posted January 3, 2008 I agree, I like Jason Mraz, one of my buddies met him and says he is extremely cool also!
Members Cozmo Posted January 3, 2008 Members Posted January 3, 2008 is a lyrical genius +1 I used to not like him, but that was purely based on the fact that he was played on Top 40 radio, and he seemed like a self-described "playa." But then my wife bought "Mr. A-Z," and I was pretty impressed. A couple of years ago I was playing bass in a band and we covered "The Remedy," and I actually became a fan. Another great song (especially for those of us who play banjo too) is "Curbside Prophet."
Members Pascal Posted January 3, 2008 Members Posted January 3, 2008 A relative of jazz pianist George Mraz?
Members Raj Posted January 3, 2008 Members Posted January 3, 2008 Heard some live stuff 4 or 5 years ago and liked it a lot, but I've got to admit the production lost me somewhere with the albums....
Members Hamhand Posted January 4, 2008 Members Posted January 4, 2008 Geez, he looks like he's 16 years old, but acts like he's 40. Not that that makes a darn bit of difference, the guys' talented as hell. Never heard of him before. Thanks.
Members VengefulTikiGod Posted January 4, 2008 Members Posted January 4, 2008 He's a lyrical genius and a fantastic singer. I think the guy is highly underrated Look for "Plane" and "Bella Luna" too, both excellent.

Members Scott Fonseca Posted January 5, 2008 Members Posted January 5, 2008 Sometimes getting a song in the top 40 makes you underrated. Isn't that kind of weird (yet understandable, *cough* Britney *cough, cough*)? You get rewarded for having a good song, and bang! People assume you are a product of some producer. He is better than many people give him credit for!
