Members trooper8 Posted January 3, 2008 Members Posted January 3, 2008 recently acquired a very good looking Joshua acostic. The jumbo has cut outs on the side next to the pick up controls. Sounds great , gives plenty of voice, and go fast neck. But I would really like to find out about the guitar (and if anyone knows where to get the hard case). There are two test drives on Harmony Central. thanks Rick
Members garthman Posted January 4, 2008 Members Posted January 4, 2008 Hello, Rick & Welcome Sorry, I've never heard of this brand.
Members Samilyn Posted January 4, 2008 Members Posted January 4, 2008 Hi Rick. Welcome to HCAG. Congrats on the new git! Sorry to say, I've never heard of Joshua gits, either. I know you'd like to find out more about its lineage, but the bottom line is, if it looks good, sounds good and plays good, the name on the headstock doesn't matter. Enjoy!!

Enjoy!! I second that. If the name on the headstock bothers you, but you love the guitar, put a sticker over the name, or in the case of my sister's guitar, get some black spray paint and "erase" it. Actually, for some weird reason, I like cheapo guitars. It must be some kind of sickness. I mean, my main guitar is a Martin, but it's fun to play a cheapo from time to time. Actually, I also like driving a beater car. Don't ask my why. Anyhow, if you can, post some pictures of it, someone here may recognize it's origin of manufacture. Dan
