Members C70man Posted January 9, 2008 Members Posted January 9, 2008 Heard a guy playing an electric Ibanez that was all black, with a thinline body and a round hole, but not really a hole, but a cutout to make it appear to be an acoustic guitar. It sounded really nice. A little weak on the bass end, but all in all, it sounded pretty good. I failed to ask him what model it was. Any ideas? I tried to look it up on the internet Ibanez site and couldn't find it...I have no idea how old it might be. It looked a lot like the new Taylor t5without the f holes, but with a round cutout.
Members C70man Posted January 9, 2008 Author Members Posted January 9, 2008 Gibson or Epiphone? It is an Ibanez, I just don't know the model number. Do you think the pickup was mounted on the saddle or part of the hole design? The hole looked like a plastic cup mounted inside the guitar.
