Members zenbu Posted January 14, 2008 Members Posted January 14, 2008 mines gotta be the Swedish Chef.
Members guitarist21 Posted January 14, 2008 Members Posted January 14, 2008 I LOVE THE MUPPETS!! Seriously I'm obsessed. I have a TON of episodes on DVD. It's the only thing I have any DVDs of. I don't think I could ever pick just one Muppet. But the Swedish chef is up there. I also love Beaker: Somewhat OT- there's a classic episode that has Steve Martin guest starring and totally ripping up the banjo. Ellen
Members brahmz118 Posted January 14, 2008 Members Posted January 14, 2008 I like Rowlf the Dog (2nd from left). I think he had the most talent. Though it's hard not to like a muppet based on Joni Mitchell (Janice, far right). And the name Floyd Pepper is pretty cool too (2nd from right, if you couldn't guess). Sometimes the Swedish Chef had human hands. That always looked a little weird to me.
Members jwm1958m Posted January 14, 2008 Members Posted January 14, 2008 I'm a Kermit fan!!! Hey..he's a pretty good banjo player and had a hit song!!
Members Scott Fonseca Posted January 14, 2008 Members Posted January 14, 2008 Animal was crazy on the drums...

Ellen Ellen, if you don't already have it, you gotta get - 'Tales from Muppetland: The Muppet Musicians of Bremen'. My favorite musicians Rover Joe who initially confused a trombone for a ham-bone. Members robwl Posted January 14, 2008 Members Posted January 14, 2008 On the Muppet Show side it was always Animal... on the Sesame Street side it was Cookie Monster.

Members Cozmo Posted January 14, 2008 Members Posted January 14, 2008 Aw, man...that's like picking which of my children is my fav. I love them all, but I guess I really love Sadler and Waldorf, the two hecklers. Miss Piggy annoys me, and Kermit wasn't as cool after Jim Henson died. RIP, Jim. Scott, did you ever see that drum battle between Animal and Buddy Rich? It was pretty amazing, especially when Buddy gets going. Too bad the only versions I've ever seen of it are in Italian.

Members Scodiddly Posted January 15, 2008 Members Posted January 15, 2008 +1 Those "old guys in the balcony" were always my favorites.
