Confused by this yamaha guitar!

i've searched for the original dwx7c model guitar,

 

and i found that the EQ/preamp of the original one is so much simpler than that of what the picture shows.

 

is it a combination of parts of other yamaha's production?

or is this picture a fake?

 

could any clarify this for me please?

 

and by the way,

please specify the exact model of the parts(primarily the weirdly installed EQ/preamp) if any one knows it.

Hi Elmos, welcome to HCAG. I did a bit of snooping around the net. It appears this Yamaha Model was primarily sold in Europe. Looking at the pics from the link below, I see what you mean the Yam in your pic doesn't have the same onboard electronics as the link below.

it has the same 4 band eq on it..."CPX15 Controls

The CPX15 features a 2-way pickup system consisting of a piezo pickup mounted in the bridge and a condenser microphone attached to a gooseneck mounted inside the body. While the piezo system reproduces string vibration, the microphone is used to pickup the guitar`s acoustic tone produced within the body.
