Members funkywon Posted January 15, 2008 Members Posted January 15, 2008 i'd love to the the non invasive version of imix...just the thing is that I play at a church and it wont always be possible to turn controls and "check" if I got the right balance and volume in case I have to adjust them...it would disturb the whole flow I guess...cuz its not a solo gig do you think it is possible to develop some kind of feeling for those 2 controls to be able to adjust them blindly? or should I get the onboard version for such critical situations?
Members funkywon Posted January 17, 2008 Author Members Posted January 17, 2008 nobody got that experience?
Members riovine Posted January 17, 2008 Members Posted January 17, 2008 I have the b-band a2.2 with two soundhole mounted wheels for mix and volume, which is pretty much identical to the imix. What I've found is yes, you can develop a feel for the volume and mix wheels, although since the wheels are small and inside the soundhole, you're movement to the control and manipulation of it will not be quite as seamless as a volume knob on an electric. You have to be a little more precise and deliberate in your movements, but it will come with time.
