Members Cheezeweggie
There is a local Craigslisting for an Aria AW-800 that looks nice. The person posting it claims that it's solid rosewood. Aria's website archives claims that the top is solid spruce and the B/S are rosewood, but they do not indicate if they are solid. Is anyone familiar with this mfr and series and do you have an opinion on the brand/model? Thanks.

Members boxorox
Generally speaking, if it doesn't specify "Solid" sides and back, it's lam. While the descriptions I've found all note "Solid top", sides and back are listed simply as "rosewood".
Members Cheezeweggie
That's all the information that I have found as well. For what He's asking, I'm in the price range of a new FG730s. Aria's website archives don't list any of their guitars as solid B/S, which would seem unusual for Japanese high end models. Thanks for checking.

Members DarkHorseJ27
Solid wood is considered a strong selling point, so if something is solid they manufacturer won't hesitate to tell you. If it doesn't say solid then it is 99.9% likely that it is laminate.

Members Hudman
It looks like an Ibanez AW800 - I know the Ibanez AW800 is all solid wood. There is a good chance both brands are made by Cort.

Members bwing
I am looking at what is listed as an AW130N acoustic. I cannot find any such model, only AW130SQN. Anyone even know of a AW130N?

There just isn't any real info out there, other than it was made sometime between 91-99, and it was close to the upper end of the model line. Most likely built in Korea by Samick.
