Aria AW-800

There is a local Craigslisting for an Aria AW-800 that looks nice. The person posting it claims that it's solid rosewood. Aria's website archives claims that the top is solid spruce and the B/S are rosewood, but they do not indicate if they are solid. Is anyone familiar with this mfr and series and do you have an opinion on the brand/model?

Thanks.

That's all the information that I have found as well. For what He's asking, I'm in the price range of a new FG730s. Aria's website archives don't list any of their guitars as solid B/S, which would seem unusual for Japanese high end models.

Thanks for checking.

I own one of those AD-80s, but the OP is asking about an AW-800 which is a totally different series.

Hi - can anyone tell me anything about the AW700?

There just isn't any real info out there, other than it was made sometime between 91-99, and it was close to the upper end of the model line. Most likely built in Korea by Samick.
