Members gitnoob
You can buy almost any guitar you want for $2000 on the used market, even a boutique brand like Santa Cruz, Huss and Dalton, etc.
Members crashclc
Well one thing is for sure, there is no such thing as "the best" because there's no objective measure of "best". The one that is the best is the one that feels best to you. Go play a pile of them and one will grab you. I promise. Even better, at that price range you have a whole world of really nice options - especially if you're buying 2nd hand. I'm a Martin bigot myself, but I also love Taylors and Larivees and Collings and Guilds and... oh well you get the idea. Have fun!
Members sdelsolray
The title says it all... go crazy... Side note: Opinions on the Larrivee guitars vs Martin/Taylor??? If your looking in the $2k range used, there are many many luthiers to look at other than Larrivee, Martin and Taylor.

Members OldGuitarPlayer
My pick for used would be a Martin D28 a Gibson Hummingbird or Gibson J45.
