The item is listed as "New" and the seller has 100% feedback, but only 2 actual feedbacks. I'm guessing from the Q/A at the bottom of the posting that this was a new instrument bought on clearance and is being resold, so I don't think the warranty would transfer. Also, it does not come with a case. I would definitely buy this myself but (a) I already have too many guitars and (b) I like a wider nut (this is 1 11/16").
