Members geek_usa
I recently got a client that wants me to convert his concert from 1980 to Audio CD and wants me to fix it up.. I have a little bit of an idea of what I want to do to fix it up. The recording is fairly clean to say the least; he made it sound like the tape i was dealing with was pretty much horrible beyond recovery and if there was anything I could do, well... What are some common techniques or tips to do? I know noise reduction, hiss reduction, and some EQ can be applied. Any other suggestions? This is my first time converting video to audio, so I need all the help i can get! thanks!
Members maxmartin
I don't really know much about audio restoration but i think you should come up with a good recording chain (like good converters) too. I think there are plenty of restoration tools and plugins around. There are actually some bundles especially for that.
