Members rhythminmind
It's nice to see some new dynamic microphones on the market.. we've been flooded by cheap condensers... i'd love to mess with these mics on a outer kick, or bass/guitar cab.. the prices look nice aswell.. http://news.harmony-central.com/Newp/2005/Proline-Microphones.html
Members charlieg6
It's tough to justify buying these though when you can get tried and true solutions for about the same money (SM7, ATM25, Audix D6, Senn 421). Plus, if you don't like the old standards, you can recoup most of your costs in resale value- who knows how these new mics will devalue? I agree it's cool to see new models out from different vendors though- I just don't want to be the guinea pig!

Phil O'Keefe
More mics = more options / more choices for engineers. I've heard good things about the new Heil's, but I have not tried them yet myself... but I am happy to see when new products are introduced that offer us more choices and alternatives, even if I decide at the end of the day that I am happier with what I already use. Once upon a time, the ATM25 was a "new" and unproven mic. Ditto that for every other mic on the planet.
