Members argonaut4
A friend of mine recently gave me an old pair of EV MS-802 monitors. They are virtually brand new, having never been used. I have a small project studio (mostly outboard gear, reel to reels, hard disc recorder, rack gear, lots of cords and knob turning ) that is just for hobby. I'm hoping to get some suggestions on a decent reference amplifier to pair up with these monitors, that won't break the bank. I'll be using them for tracking, mix-down, & mastering. I currently have an Alesis RA100. Thanks! J
Members where02190
We power our NS-10's with a Hafler P1500, and love it. If you need more power, they make the P3000. The 1500 is 75w/ch@8ohms, I think the 3000 is double that.
Members bjorked
Another vote for hafler. I use the P3000 with my ADAMs . Great amplifier especially for the price IMO
Phil O'Keefe
Yup, the Hafler's are difficult to beat at the price. They seem to be quite reliable too.

Members argonaut4
Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up on the Hafler. I found one on eBay for $200 and it delivered yesterday. I can't believe the difference. My other amps were definitely coloring my sound. Thanks, J
