Members thredlok
I bought a black box to start recording, I can't get my make any sound when it is attached. I followed the instructions installed the drivers, updated the drivers, changed the settings in the sounds section. The only thing I can see that might be a problem is that the driver is showing up as "no digital signature", and i have no idea how to change that. Any help would be appreciated. Gus Lozada
I hate to be a "read the manual" guy, but in this case, it will be very helpful to understand the following: About the Digital Signature: During the installation, you will be prompted with a message warning that the driver software has not passed Windows Logo testing Select
Members thredlok
I read it, did what it said. It's nothing that simple as turning the I/P knob. There seems to be more that's blocking it in my hard/software. BTW Im running xp sp2:confused:

What software are you using? when it happens? is the BBox selected as audio interface? have newest driver? etc... The failure is that there is no sound. OS: Windows XP sp2, Ableton lite 4 (included with Black box) The BBox is selected as the audio interface. I down loaded and installed the latest updated driver for XP from m-audio. When I plug the black box in the usb, the computer recognizes the Bbox, I can upload presets to the computer so I know it's communicating, but there absolutely no sound coming from the computer. When I unplug the Bbox I can get sound from the regular things like itunes etc...
Gus Lozada
Did you turn the MIX knob to playback? Is the BBox selected in LIVE as the audio output with an ASIO driver? What are you trying to playback from it? Pre-recorded audio or your guitar being played?
