Members Z-Mann Posted December 11, 2010 Members Posted December 11, 2010 I'm at the point where I am trying to focus on booking shows around the Southeast. I have a CD recorded and off the manufacturers and I'm trying to get merch in line. I've looked at buying the Musician's Atlas a bunch of times over the years but didn't really have the need for it quite yet. 2011 will hopefully be a year where I play out a lot and make some money. Has anyone had good results with the Musician's Atlas? My band would fall into the indie category and I also do some solo singer-songwriter type material. I tried doing a search but didn't have any luck via the HC search function. If I missed any prior posts on this topic I would love to see em. Thanks!
Members sventvkg Posted December 12, 2010 Members Posted December 12, 2010 I used the online musicians atlas to book a tour and I found it extremely useful and in fact, I've as yet not found any other resource that is even remotely as good as the Atlas. I would subscribe to the online version.
Members davejh Posted December 12, 2010 Members Posted December 12, 2010 Indie on the move http:www.indieonthemove.com Is quite helpful as well. Seems they have a lot of venues that aren't listed in the atlas. A combo of using the two should work nicely
