Members fzgtral Posted November 3, 2010 Members Posted November 3, 2010 Hey everyone... I'm thinking of starting an online studio (drums only). Does anyone think it would work? People would email music, ideas, etc. and I would record the drums and email them the final result. cheap dreamweaver Anyone have any suggestions or criticisms? Thanks!
Members Ronan Murphy Posted November 3, 2010 Members Posted November 3, 2010 Many people are already doing this, so it seems like a workable proposition.
Members reubenpaul Posted November 9, 2010 Members Posted November 9, 2010 Or you could just record your drums and then structure them into categories and tempos and sell them as loop files...

Members grace_slick Posted November 12, 2010 Members Posted November 12, 2010 Oh, I'd use this...I can do drums ok but find I just don't know how to do really intricate things, drumrolls, and I'm not coordinated or rhythmic enough to maintain a good, perfect beat.
Members Shredzorz Posted November 18, 2010 Members Posted November 18, 2010 You see this alot In the Metal community. Derick Roddy, Tim Yeung, Zack Gibson, Kevin Talley, Etc. Are all pretty well known and offer their services over the internet. Kevin Talley In particular does alot of session work over the net. You can send your songs to him and he tracks drums for you and sends you all the files to be remastered, etc. You can check out how he runs things on his site, from what I've seen and heard he does very well: http://www.drummerkevintalley.com/backstage/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=72&Itemid=54
