Members skier4467
I REALLY really want to get a Zoom R16 recorder. BUT, I have read that it needs a Mac with an Intel processor. I have a Mac G4 Powerbook with extra ram (2 gigs SDRAM) & 1.5GHz PPC processor. My powerbook was the latest model before they switched to the intel processor. Do you think it would work with my Mac? I mean how different can they be? Should I take the chance? Thanks for opinions.
Phil O'Keefe
If they say "Intel Mac" in the system requirements, then I would be very surprised if it will work on a G5, much less a G4. Proceed at your own risk.

Phil O'Keefe
I could have absolutely sworn I responded to this question about 24 hours ago... I must be going mad There are two "recording related" forums here on Harmony Central - maybe he cross-posted his question on both of them?
