I had an 80s Cort with some of the best humbuckers I've ever heard (think they're Dimarzio Super Distortions) it was a laminate (yes Fuji turned out some great laminates as well) but ask my friend and bass player if he cares -never goes out of tune, great neck and sounds great. He gave me eighty bucks in a time of need and was willing to pay a lot more (and yes I told him about the body). I still have the hots for a Matt Guitar Murphy model.
