Members Randooser
http://www.myspace.com/proazza/music...-81448307?ap=1 Looking for critique on mixing, production, etc. Anything I could've done better. All instruments recorded in real time. CV 50 Tele on top and CV60 Strat in the back. Yamaha DTX drum kit and Ibanez 5 string bass. Recorded on a Tascam Portastudio 01 8 track. Members Randooser
Thanks for the comments Leonard. Are you saying the mix is too hot or too much gain on the guitar? How can I get it less muddy. Or should I say, what's making it muddy iyo?
Members LeonardScaper
Well....just gave it another listen.....laptop speakers only right now..... Sounds like you may have tracked a bit hot.......and it sounds a little thick down in that pesky 200-300 area.......even a bit of HPF could help. I'll give it a better listen tomorrow in a better listening environment.

Members LeonardScaper
Sorry......High Pass Filter. You may need to tame those lower frequencies.

Just use a decent EQ to dip out some of those low-mid frequencies a bit, and that guitar will pop right out! Just sweep around until you find the hot spot.
