Phil O'Keefe
I've never talked to or done business with this gentleman, so I am not recommending him, but it looked like a potentially very useful resource, so I wanted to pass it along. http://www.srdpc.com/witt/ Terry's rubber pinch rollers and wheels refurbishes your old reel to reel's pinch roller and claims to make it as good as new. The pics of some of the restorations on his site look very impressive, and it appears that he does oddball stuff too, so if you have an old deck that has a bad roller, but you can't find the OEM part, here's a possible solution for you. If anyone's used Terry's services before and wants to chime in, please feel free. (With thanks to SnorkelMonkey over on HCEF for turning me on to the link. )
Members JMR
I want a reel-to-reel so bad. But I have neither the skills nor the monetary resources. And all that other gear I need to get first.
Members WRGKMC
I've seen that site before looking for parts for my space echo. They are kind of lacking on specs/dimensions? Hub size height width etc. Without dimensions you can't find a fit for anything but the modelshe has listed.
