Phil O'Keefe
Here's my review of the KRK (yes, the studio monitor company) KNS-8400 and KNS-6400 headphones. http://www.harmonycentral.com/docs/DOC-2321 I was particularly impressed with the '8400's - they're very nice cans IMO. Members BushmasterM4
Agree 100%. I have both pair and use the 6400 for live room use and the 8400 as my second set for mixing/final mix purposes. While my Senn HD600's are my first choice for comfort and mix checking, the KrK8400's are up there in performance and half the price. On a personal note the 6400's work extremely well with my ipod too !!!!

Members ermghoti II
In a related topic, I see that the KNS-8400 are available online for $119 shipped. In the interest of avoiding the appearance of shilling, I will not name the retailer, but only mentioned they have a strong reputation, and their name rhymes with "bull hump us." Phil O'Keefe
It took me a second to mentally figure out what the heck retailer rhymes with "bull hump us" - now that I have, I feel silly about it.

Me too and they're one of my favorite companies to deal with. Most of the time if you talk to someone you can get an even better price.
