You're such an attention whore Billy Cool.

Just start playing shows in venues that cater to your sound and open up for like-sounding bands that actually pack out the clubs.

Now what?

"Now what", what? You're done. That's it, thats all there is. Congratulations your famous.

It's "famous" that's been downsized, not you. You're a star like the rest of us now. Feels great don't it?

You're not very familiar with Columbus, OH.

I figured being an attention whore was an asset.

Did you record the vocal tracks of your last CD standing in a closet with a microphone hanging off a coathanger suspended from a bypass door track?

No, but I do have a microphone stand made from a broomstick, duct tape, t-shirt and old hi-hat stand. Is that ghetto enough?

Damn! First things first... stop using that awful piece of {censored} mediafire site! I was getting popups and all kinds of crap on my screen and still couldn't easily figure out how to listen to a track without downloading it. I had to go to yoru myspace site to hear anything without downloading. Listen... bandcamp.com is your friend. Immediately dump mediafire and move your stuff.

Oh, to answer your question of "now what?" By the title you imply "Now what can I do to make me famous?" I can think of three ways to get famous:

1. Get a huge bank roll behind you and buy fame.

2. Become some type of gimmicky trendy interesting freak and write music that panders to the masses.

3. Write songs that are so damn good they can't possibly be ignored.

I am not into the kind of music you write, but if I had to judge it, I might say it's "good." Like a kabillion other bands out there who write "good" music. "Good" can't make a living unless it's lucky. So you either need to keep writing until you hit that point where your songs are so good they can't be ignored, or you try #1 or #2.

Or you become satisfied with being "good" as opposed to famous. That's another route.

Thank you for taking me seriously!

First off, I was intending you to download my songs for your own personal use. I am giving them to you. If you do not want them, simply stream them via myspace.

Secondly, thanks for your insight and candor.

Lastly, I think my songs are the bees knees!

like other performance arts, it's a densely populated field, but if you never ever say "I am NOT putting that in there"

you should find a pretty good following

I've got the songs.

I've got the Myspace page.

I have a YouTube channel.

I even have a band assembled and rehearsed. I'm ready to go.

Now what?

Get ready to be sorely disappointed. Extremely unlikely, but you might get lucky. Probably just sorely disappointed, though.

I just started a Facebook account under "Billy Cool". Do you think that will help?
