Members lpwcruzr
Ok I'm looking around at a pawn shop today and I see an Ibanez guitar so I check it out real quickly. The headstock says RG series 3220 on it. But this is not the prestige 3220 that I have seen. It is a strat style with a large pick guard like a strat, 2 single coils and one humbucker with a sunburst finish. What the heck is this?
Members Sparkytfl
Depends on how old it is. The higher end ones didn't start saying prestige until some time in the last 5-10 years. Not sure when exactly. And if you're saying the body was different than normal, maybe it's a parts guitar. http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/index.htm you can check out catelogs here, but they're missing the last few years. Members lpwcruzr
It looks like one of the rx series from the 96-97 catalogs. The sunburst one looks exactly like it. But the neck of the one here says rg 3220. I can't read anything on those catalogs to see the names in the print.
