Maybe you would also like Before and After shots. What it looks like now, and what it looked like he sold off a bunch of stuff before moving. ;)

Ha! I can tell you exactly what my rig is, because I'm not set up with The Real Deal yet -- just the minimal needed to make noise:

Adam ANF10 speakers

Peavey DECA 700 power amp

Alesis 1622 mixer (don't laugh, I have to fix the DA7's display and the 1622 still works)

Creamware SCOPE system (yes!!)

PRS guitar

DigiTech GNX4

Line 6 Variax

Vetta II amp

Ensoniq TS-10 synth

Leoni/ADK dual Athlon computer

And that's it for now. Software-wise, my hard drive crashed before I moved, so I'm re-installing stuff. Right now I'm pretty much running Sonar, Project5, Tracktion, Cubase SX, Wavelab, Sound Forge, Adobe Audition, and Acid 5. Most of my soft synths aren't installed yet 'cause the Creamware stuff takes care of my immediate needs.

Sorry if this is disappointing! And BTW, I sold virtually nothing before moving, only got bites for the Polysix and one of the EH effects. That was it!

What do you think of Tracktion, Craig? I'm window-shopping for a new DAW for my new Mac (har!) which I'm also window-shopping for, will probably be injuring a credit card this fall. The Tracktion package certainly is priced right, just wondering what you think of it, thanks!

Think of how much people spend at Starbucks everyday without thinking twice!

It's EXTREMELY cost-effective, and like the hype says, easy to use. It lacks a few features that are important to me, like being able to edit acidized loops, but it's resource-friendly and lets you throw stuff together fast. The MIDI end of things has been much improved in V2, and the "rack filters" are very cool (I did a Power App Alley on them for EQ).

Why not download the demo and try it out?

I suppose I should mention what hardware gets set up next:

Panasonic DA7. I still love that mixer.

Alesis Ion. I really dig the real time control.

Peavey DPM3. Laugh if you want, it still sounds totally cool.

Ensoniq ASR-X. I make a lot of loops with that thing.

TC-Helicon Voice processor.

Minimoog. It's great to have a piece of Bob in my studio...

Line 6 PODxt.

Radikal Technologies remote control. Great for hands-on control.

Some of the Aphex tube processors.

Alesis Masterlink.

Korg Legacy Collection. Tasty!

And of course, all the rest of the software I use...too much to go into here at the moment.

I've seen this thread for two days now and everytime I see the headline I get weird visions of a bearded man in a raincoat flashing innocent musicians.

And yet, I am laughing!

How you managed to keep that thing running is beyond me. We received so many back from broken boards it was ridiculous. But not as ridiculous as running a pair of ADAM monitors off a 1622. ;)

Glad you have it as a backup, though! (As I'm sure you are glad, as well. ;) )

I do flash motherboards, however!
