Members Anderton Posted August 23, 2005 Members Posted August 23, 2005 Is this new? I don't seem to recall seeing it a couple months ago. Or maybe I just missed it...I like it a lot. Some of the music is a bit too musak-like for me, but there's a lot of great Middle Eastern, African, and Asian music on there.
Members Rabid Posted August 23, 2005 Members Posted August 23, 2005 Nope. It has been there a while, maybe since the beginning. They did drop a lot of other speciality stations for international music which really hurt. My reason for getting XM was variety. Anyway, World Zone is in my top 6 in my channels, along with Luna (95), Beyond Jazz (72), The System (82), Old Time Radio (164), and ESPN (140). Robert

Members Anderton Posted August 25, 2005 Author Members Posted August 25, 2005 Craig, I have somewhere in my possession a cassette of the album you did with Spencer... Cool! I must admit I still think it sounds pretty good...it did pretty well. I should try to get the rights back and remaster it. FYI Spencer is getting back into music after a long excursion into a high-tech business. Good stuff. Sign o' the times: Santa Fe has a 24-hour chill station, Blu 102.9. They also make compilation CDs of what they play, and place it in local record stores.
