I couldn't tell you for sure, buut Valky's game choices have always leaned toward the RPGs, and I'm sure they have some version of FF for the PSP. So that's my bet.

I almost bought a Blackberry the other day, and stopped myself when I realized that I just didn't WANT to be that connected.

I saw articles about web browsers on the PSP but I figured it would take a long time to type anything longer than a sentence. I use my Palm Zire72 to access the web but it has incredibly short battery life. Nothing beats my laptop!

No hack needed -- if you update your PSP to version 2.0, it comes complete with a web browser. They've also added a better form of wireless security protocol which the PSP will now support, WEP 64-bit is wimpy.

I love my PSP! There haven't been a lot of games out for it recently, but the following are great fun and should keep any reasonably sane, employed human being busy until Xmas/Spring when the next tidal wave will hit:

1. Unreal Legends (prolly what Valkyrie is playing...)

2. Need for Speed: Underground Rivals (a nice balance of car modding with reasonably challenging racing)

3. Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (very stylish around-the-city racing, sort of like GTA without all the violence and hooker jokes)

4. FIFA Soccer -- incredible game!

5. Lumines -- utterly addictive

6. Wipeout Pure -- can you tell I like racing games? They've done a great job of adding almost 20mb of new tracks and skins and vehicles for the game that you can download, wirelessly, to your memory stick -- I'm old I guess, I just think that's so cool.

7. MVP Baseball -- takes some patience to get into, but if you love baseball it's a good, solid game. It'll take awhile to get the swing of it, though, fair warning.

I'm no fanboy -- I also really enjoy Nintendo DS, don't be embarrassed to pick up Nintendogs, it's really quite amazing and the perfect few-minutes-at-a-time distraction, something most computer games fail to do well. Other good games for DS are Meteos (the DS variant of Lumines, done by the same company but a VERY different-feeling game!), Kirby and (I'm strange) the just-released Pac 'n Roll, think Marble Madness meets Pacman, again, nice, leisurely fun.

This enthusiastic blurb brought to you by a fanatic Reaktor 5 Core student..... ;)

I know I can kick Valky's ass at Soul Caliber. ;)

But that's an old game. I'm sure nobody remembers it anymore.

These days I don't play anything new anymore, I just recycle the same games over again.

I'm too busy to get hooked on a new game.

In the old days, I always bought my new games on Fridays, because I knew I'd be completely involved in it for the weekend.

But I can't even get away with that anymore.

Hopfully when my kids are a little bigger, we can get back into it and do some network gaming together. I think that'd be fun.
