Shars, you don't look like Yoko, but that picture, with the sunglasses holding up a sign, did look like a POSE that Yoko would have been in, and that's why it was reminding people of Yoko. I thought the pic was way cool because of it, not because you LOOKED like Yoko, but because it looked like something Yoko might do.

Those of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s remember a lot of pics of John and Yoko holding signs...and, in some, she was wearing sunglasses.

We love ya, Shars!

Dang! The things I miss when I barely post over the weekend.

Looks like whatever the comments were about, you've not-kissed but made up.

What I don't understand, Shars, is why you only have god-awful pics of yourself to post online. I mean, you're an attractive woman and the pose is very cute, but most every picture you've posted at the SSS looks like it was taken by someone with coke-bottle glasses and a 110 camera. ;) You're shy?? (K-i-d-d-i-n-g!!!)

Now I'm nothing to look at, but at least you can tell. :D

BTW - Booshie, is that really the little one, or did you just post that for the Heinie baby bottle?

Hes too cute!

You can throw all my ,my dads and Skip's babypics on a pile and shuffle them,... after that there's no way of telling which pic belongs to who.

We are all the same,..... I guess there's no evolution in our family.

(No, I didn't edit a post, but I thought "since everyone else is posting that, why not jump in?" ;) )

BTW, everyone be nice to Shars... if hear about any unwanted stalking or harrassment over her pics, I'm not going to be a happy mod.:mad:;)

Didn't Alison Krauss cover that tune as well? Seems I accompanied a gal singer at a wedding who performed that tune. I think I sang harmony on that "The smile on your face etc." chorus part.

Oh...I forgot...

Sad story:

My wife's brother was mentally and physically handicapped. His mental abilities were those of a 5 year old,he couldn't speak and walk.

3 years ago he died at age 38. I had to pick out songs for his funeral and this one was played as well. It reminded me so much of him.

Yes, she covered it several years after his death. But he had the first hit on that song and wrote it, too.
