Members phaeton Posted August 28, 2005 Members Posted August 28, 2005 ....what? Tell us some of the things you do for the one you love, or some of the things that the one you love does for you. You know, all those little, selfless acts that you do. Just Because... I'll get you started. My gf has been all stressed out over the home-buying thing for about two weeks. So today, i plugged in the Playstation 2, loaded up an RPG that she hasn't started yet, and I've been waiting upon her hand and foot. Pizza for breakfast, regular smidgens of dark chocolate. Glasses of water with just the right amount of ice. All the things she really likes, brought to her without provocation. Just Because. She hasn't had to leave bed all day yet. She needed a day to 'decompress'. Your turn....

Members philbo Posted August 29, 2005 Members Posted August 29, 2005 My wife has insanely high arches and very narrow feet. She works as a nurse, and so puts on a lot of miles walking. I spend about an hour on each foot when she gets home from work massaging the soreness from her arches.

So if you were to become single, do you think we could meet for drinks, maybe dinner, and see where it goes from there?

Moderators Lee Knight Posted August 30, 2005 Moderators Posted August 30, 2005 Love. The omnipresent reminder that we are not the only one here. The ongoing disagreement over who clears out the dishwasher when it's clean... put the dishes back regardless. Buy toilet paper and continue to fill the rolls without a word. She's doing stuff we take for granted everyday.
Members Greg Bogoshian Posted August 30, 2005 Members Posted August 30, 2005 I married her. Then, I stayed married to her...
Members Billster Posted August 30, 2005 Members Posted August 30, 2005 Unconditional love is the things you do for your child(ren), knowing that the only way they can reciprocate is to do the same for their child(ren).

Members phaeton Posted August 30, 2005 Author Members Posted August 30, 2005 When you go to a restaurant with her, and your order comes with something she really likes but doesn't come with her order (like french fries or onion rings) you turn your plate so that item is in easy reach for her.
