Members Robman2 Posted August 30, 2005 Members Posted August 30, 2005 All I really need is the scoring midi tools with a looming deadline for one of NYC's looker string bass players solo record. Plus I'll add all that VST Nuendo engine etc to my Samplitude. I went to (independent music store in Los Angeles) plopped down the money, and have been waiting for nearly two weeks now. I could ask Yamaha for an industry accomadation but that channel is one wheel shy as well It's AFU so I'm willing to use a retailer for the convience Is Yamaha off the mark now because Stienberg is merely another product in the warehouse... I told me contact at the store if it's not here tomorrow, I'll go buy it at GC or Ash...and get the upgrade off the web. WTF...rantosis... Thanks, Rob
Members Robman2 Posted August 30, 2005 Author Members Posted August 30, 2005 I will get the upload, Audiomidi.com, has SX 3 in stock and I can drive there and pick it up after work tomorrow... Yamaha has to get their {censored} together...
Members Anderton Posted August 31, 2005 Members Posted August 31, 2005 This may expose serious ignorance, but while I'm very familiar with Cubase SX 3, I'm not sure what the "hybrid" version is.
Members Robman2 Posted August 31, 2005 Author Members Posted August 31, 2005 Craig, It's West L. A. Music-speak, and is listed on my deposit invoice that way, otherwise, I know not... I'm going to get it from Russ's people this afternoon in Chatsworth. It seems as if Yamaha's big ole corporate wheels are turning very slowly. Thanks, Rob
Members felix Posted August 31, 2005 Members Posted August 31, 2005 Cubase SX 3.0 has been available since October 2004. "Hybrid" means that there's only one version to purchase, it contains both Mac and Windows versions.
