Members TheWewus Posted September 1, 2005 Members Posted September 1, 2005 DAMN! These guys have been on the air since Monday almost continously and so far they've raised $200,000, AND have loaded 12 tractor trailers full of supplies, chain saws, water, canned goods, etc., and they're still going strong. 12 trailers full of stuff. The first trucks have already left. HERE'S THE LINK to their website. This is becoming a national story. Ace and TJ are so far the biggest private organization providing aid to the people in that area. It's just a little network of 6 stations in The SE that all this aid is coming from. It's an amazing, wonderful, outpouring of help that's happening here, right now. Let's do it. Those people in The Gulf region, need our help, NOW. I'm going over to the radio station this afternoon to help load, yet another trailer, which will probably be the 14th by the time I get there! No time for despair, no time to be sad. Let's do whatever we can to help those people.
