Members BillyCorgan
Maybe not famous but all of the cleans were recorded with a '67 SG Special. Sig! My favorite out of the tones is the bridge on Breath Of Life.

Members tim gueguen
"Mississipi Queen" by Mountain immediately comes to mind. Leslie West was a big Les Paul Jr. fan for much of his career. A large chunk of Neil Young's electric work has been on P90 equipped guitars, especially Old Black, his modded early '50s black Les Paul. although its hard to say which songs were done using its neck P90 and which were done using its Firebird bridge pickup. The Beatles made heavy use of P90 equipped Epiphone Casinos from 1965 on, such as John's lead playing on "Get Back." Pete Townsend played a P90 SG Special live at the end of the '60s, including the Who album Live At Leeds.

Members JMAC
Blue Suede Shoes. Carl Perkins used a '52 Les Paul Gold Top with trapeze tailpiece. Also, all the Elvis Sun Recordings with Scotty Moore; Scotty Moore used a Gibson ES-295 with P-90s. Eddie Cochran also had a modified Gretsch 6120 with a P90 in the neck position. There are alot more, but those are the first that immediately came to mind.

Members JMAC
All of Guitar Slims recordings were done with a 52 Les Paul Gold Top with P90s. His most famous recording with the P90s was probably "The Things That I Used to Do." He loved his P90 equipped Les Paul that he was buried with it when he died at the age of 32. Members sh944
Georgia Satellites "Keep Your Hands to Yerself" opening chords and 1/2 the solos were done with a Gibson Les Paul TV with a P90. Also, a lot of Dan Barnes guitar work in 38 Special, including most of their hits, was a Gibson Les Paul Jr with a P90. I'll see if I can think of some others, but Georgia Sat's first album is an excellent example of a great sounding P90 recording.
