Members Johnny Two Tone
Why hello there. I just purchased an Ibanez RGA121 (best guitar ever, btw) and I have had this spare X2N pickup laying around for a while so I'm going to slap it up in the bridge of this guitar. Now I need a neck pickup that goes well with it. I was thinking of getting a PAF Pro but after reading about it and hearing the clips on the DiMarzio web site it may be a little too vintage-ish to go with the cutting nature of the X2N. My current front runner is the DiMarzio Evolution Neck. Sound like a good idea? Thanks.
Members natasmi
None, it seems, all other pickups get jealous, pack up there tone pot and move out. ' alt='>'>
Members Burningleaves
How about a Super 2? It is a Super D type for the neck. I think the 425 output would be able to hold it's own against the X2N's 510 super power output.

I need something that not only sounds good alone but also matches up well with the X2N. Since my RGA121 has a lot of switching option I don't want something that would only sound good by itself. Members Puddlegum
How about a neck Evo? Maybe even a Fred?
Members Ibanezman06
holy {censored}e. it's gonna be hard to get it to get along with a freakin' x2n.
Members peavey_impact
I use the stock Washburn humbucker in the neck along with my X2N-7....no problems....I think any medium to highpower humbucker will work just fine.
Members Thri11_H0use
i had this same question a while ago when i got an X2N for my RG. The answer was the Breed (neck version). They compliment each other very well.
