Members Tedster
Hi Avery, welcome to the forum! I have an Ibanez Talman. I really dig the vibe I get from it. Mine has two P-90 single coil pickups. Right now that's the only Ibanez I have, but I did just buy an Ibanez acoustic for my daughter...this one: What model is your Ibanez? Tell us a bit about your style of playing, favorite guitarists, that sort of thing?
Members Ryst
I think the majority of Ibanez guitars suck, but I love mine :D It's a baritone. 28" scale. I tune it down to G. :D
Members BandProfit
I have the Ibanez AEG10N and I enjoy it very much. The electronics record surprisingly well for a cheap guitar.
Members blackpig
I've got a J200 copy from the 70s hidden away in my attic. It needs a neck reset but is otherwise a lovely guitar. Thanks for reminding me.
Members Super 8
I have my eyes set on one of the Ibanez Artcore guitars. I want somthing approaching a 335 tone. I can't afford a 335, and if I could, I'd never want to leave the house with it.The Artcores are supposed to be really nice for the money.
Members ZED
I love my Artcore and had a real nice Ibanez strat copy about 20 years ago.
Members bejeeber
I'm lovin' my '70s Ibanez Howard Roberts "lawsuit" model. She's a good for one for straight ahead jazz tone IMO. Looks like this (a beauty!!) but with an upgrade of a Bartolini pickup.

Members Addix Metzatricity
My second bass was an Ibanez Soundgear 5-string. It was fantastic for what I was using it for at the time... very loud rock. Alas, it was stolen.

Yeah, I've been thinking of getting the AEF20, and I've wondered what it soundslike plugged in... thanks for the heads up on that, maybe there's hope for that guitar... I particularly liked the neck on the AEF20, and it doesn't sound bad acoustically...
Members BandProfit
If it has the same electronics I think you will like it. - Sean

The guage it came with was this 6th - 74 5th - 56 4th - 40 3rd - 30 2nd - 17 1st - 14 I bought an 80 gauge string (the lightest bass sting that's made, I think) for the G but not sure whether I want to try it or not. I think the high strings start at 17 for the set I have on them now. And yes, it is a beautiful sounding guitar.
Members kevorkazito
Ibanez Rules! My babies:1975 LP Deluxe '59er: holy crap! totally amazing as stock.1989 E/X 360: Reminds me of a symphonic instrument; amazing.2002 IC-300: This axe is on fire and keeps up to my Gibson Explorer. I like the new Prestige models. I just sold a bunch of axe's because as an amateur it was getting way out of line. I like to favour one instrument like Rory Galagher. That way you can really get to know it. Playing other guitars makes me appreciate what I have. Check out the LP here: http://www.newmusiccanada.ca/genres/artist.cfm?Band_Id=13572 I've played on pro sessions and the experts {censored} when they hear that axe.
