Members mrbrown49
Anybody know what the specs are on medium jumbo frets? Specifically, the medium jumbos on the new fender standards?

Members Straightface
Just a guess but I would say probably 6105. I have 6150's on my parts tele thinking those were MJ and they are bigger than those on my Fender with MJ's. One other thing I noticed is that the Warmoth 6105's are smaller than the USACG 6105's. I noticed that too. The 6105's are also a different size on lmii. It aslo says the following on warmoths site which might be a reason why. "For general reference we use Dunlop's fret numbers, however, actual fret dimensions vary somewhat from batch to batch." I narrowed it down to the 6105 and the 6150, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for he input!
Members dcindc
Stewmac's 149s are 103*046, and they are huge. I have lots of SX guitars with what I thought were huge frets. I suggest you err on the side of caution.

I suggest you err on the side of caution. By that do mean, refrain from getting the largest available? I agree. I think the ones on the new fenders fit me just right. Thats why I am trying to match it. Maybe I'll just take my dial calipers to GC with me.
Members dcindc
Yeah. I'd get the 6105s not the 6150sNo Fender I've ever touched has anything like what those 149s are. They're HUGE.Wound up cool on my 51 though.
Members mrbrown49
Thanks DC. Thats where I was leaning. Thanks for the advice, and nice 51! Its weird, back when I got this guitar, they were supposedly jumbo frets, but I think jumbo has gotten bigger or something.
