Members Surrealistic Posted June 29, 2009 Members Posted June 29, 2009 Depends on your musical and marketing talent. Why should using Reason make a difference?
Moderators daddymack Posted June 29, 2009 Moderators Posted June 29, 2009 well, if they are built-in pre-recorded loops anyone can use them, but they are generally going to sound canned.. a drum pattern is not copyrightable as there is no specific melody, and certainly no lyrics, so in that sense, they are fair game.
Members danosongs Posted June 30, 2009 Members Posted June 30, 2009 Any professional loop library I have bought is completely royalty free to use for exactly what you want to do - for instance Sony loops for ACID. I would not use free loops from those sites where people upload their loops.
