Members leftyjay
what is the total length of the guitar? and the width and length of the body? I may be getting a LEFTY CIJ model of both and they only come with a gigbag. I'm looking about getting a generic hardshell for them if i buy the guitar/s
Members Ryan Trevisol
I believe mine is 42" overall. That makes it just big enough that the tip of the headstock sticks out of a normal gigbag, and impossible to fit in a normal case. I actually got an old ibanez Bass case for mine ($10 on the bay), and while there's about 3 inches extra above the top of the headstock, it fits the body quite well. Members leftyjay
thats what i was worried about. i didnt think they'll fit in a standard generic case. i saw where gator makes an extended length case. Gator GC-Elec-XL Deluxe ABS Extra Long Guitar Case Specifications: Body lower bout width: 12.75" Body middle bout width: 12.75" Body upper bout width: 12.75" Body total length: 18.25" Headstock width: 12.75" Headstock length: 9" Total length: 41.75" Bottom body height: 2.5" Top body height: 2.5" Headstock start height: 2.75" Headstock end height: 2.75" Exterior: 45" x 16.25" x 5.5" Accessory space (2): 10.5" x 4.5" x 2" but if the length is 42", that wont even work.... thanks...
