I bought my squier back in 1997 and back then they had a different, nicer decal on their guitars. It's gold in the middle with a black outline, more like a traditional non-Deluxe Fender decal. Sorry, but... +1 Taking the logo off is one thing. If you're going to customize the hell out of Squire and put your own name on it with a sharpie... whatever.
