Members Musicscotty
Can anyone help with a site that will give me info on Antoria serial numbers. I know about the history of the guitars themselves, but I'm just trying to find out about a particular guitar.
Members wedgehed II
Nice to see another Antoria owner here. The only thing I can suggest is a Google search for "antoria guitar serial number". At least you'll get some links to some boards where Antorias are a hotter topic. There's an Antoria discussion board on MSN & you can probably find info on Ibanez forums due to the relationship between the two brands.
Members tim gueguen
If they followed the practice of some Japanese makers you can guess the year they were made by the first or first two numbers of the serial number ie 77=1977. A letter code may indicate the month of manufacture, with A=January, B=February and so on. I say may because some Aria Pro IIs have a letter as part of their serial number, but its unclear what it actually meant. Antoria were supposedly Fujigen Gakki made, so they might have similar serial numbers to the Ibanezs of the era, which used the above system.
