Members fickle19
Hi everyone, I had just recently sold an ESP standard series guitar and it was pretty much mint condition. No issues at all.. When the guy had received it he noticed while changing the strings that there was cracking on the ebony fret board from the 15th fret up to the 24th. It wasn't cracked at all before I shipped it out.. Do you think cold weather could have done this or maybe it was dropped? Not sure what I should do in a situation like this. Members RaVenCAD
You, do nothing.. Used guitars are sold as-is unless you had some other agreement. It's unfortunate, but you didn't offer a warranty.
Members Jkater
It's an easy repair job. I had it done on one of my guitars. Le luthier just mixed ebony dust with a certain glue (forgot which. it was clear color) and used a razr blade to work it all smooth. It's invisible now. I also agree with RaVen that it isn't your responsibility. If it was insured, have him work with the shipper.
