  1. I LIKE THIS . . . . . . and i am thinking, el' cheapo slide guitar !!!
  2. It's got one of the best stoner/doom tones available in any current production amps, and it's cheap as chips. I got mine for about
  3. Check out the new line of Ampeg GVT guitar amps !!!
  4. This is the same amp that Slash used to record Appetite for Destruction. He loved the amp so much he "lost it" and never returned it to SIR. Or so the story goes. You beat me to it
  5. If you go back and read the interviews with Lynch during those days, you find he was a serious tone hound. He hunted high and low for the right tone. He endorsed Randalls, but was a diehard Marshall user. He rented a modified Marshall that he fell in love with and mentioned in several interviews. "Upon returning #39 to S.I.R. following his rental of the amp, George finally learned the name of the mystery modifier who had performed the modification to #39: Tim Caswell (Tim had worked in S.I.R.
  6. from what I remember reading. Also some soldanos at some point. I could be wrong but for some reason that's what comes to mind. Modified for more gain ?

  8. and Johnny Hickman can't be wrong. I went flametop for the Gretsch. If only i can get one of those http://images.gibson.com/Files/d4f4d5a9-ee4a-4f2f-b248-5b225b3da02e.jpg
  9. For Les Paul lovers, Am I crazy to love plain top over flame tops?? I just can't stop GASing for the naturally aged plain top Les Paul. No hard feeling. I just don't feel the flame tops as much. What about you? Always (well since 1986/7) prefered plain top guitars over any AAA flame / tiger stripe / exotic amazon what ever top ! Plain just look so much more classy and less bling than a flame. YMMV.
  10. free bump for a sad deal. Nice Bow Chick is pretty hot too
